Notifications
Alerts, snapshots and summaries on Telegram, WhatsApp, email, ntfy or any webhook.
Install the channel you use from Integrations, fill in the fields, Save, and tap Send test message. From then on the channel is available as an action in every workflow.
Telegram
- In Telegram, talk to @BotFather, create a bot and copy its token.
- Paste the token in the gateway. Send any message to your new bot, then tap ✨ Detect automatically so the gateway picks up your chat ID.
- Send test message.
Uses the official Cloud API. Create a Meta Business app at developers.facebook.com, add the WhatsApp product, copy the Phone number ID and a permanent access token from API Setup, paste both plus your recipient number, add your own number as a test recipient and verify it. Proactive alerts outside a 24‑hour window need an approved message template.
Any SMTP server. Gmail: host smtp.gmail.com, port 587, and an App Password (not your normal password).
ntfy
Install the ntfy app, pick a topic name and subscribe to it. Put the same topic in the gateway: messages arrive as push notifications, no account needed.
Webhook
POST to any URL. Discord and Slack: paste the channel's incoming‑webhook URL and the format is detected. Home Assistant, ntfy or a custom service: pick JSON or plain text.
Using them
In Workflows, add the action Send notification, choose the channel and write the text. Device names, values and a camera snapshot can be included.
