Network

DHCP is the default. Switch to Static, enter address, prefix, gateway and DNS, then Apply. A static address stays fixed across reboots; if the address or gateway is wrong the gateway falls back to DHCP so you never lose access. Renew lease asks the router for a fresh address.
Backups
Export configuration downloads one .json with all your settings, rooms, devices and automations. Import configuration restores it, on the same gateway or a new one.
Factory reset
Settings › System › Factory reset erases every setting (network goes back to DHCP) and reboots. Devices on the buses are not touched; you will need to add integrations again.
