Use the Iconet Gateway with Google Home and Google Assistant.
Requirements
- Android phone or iPhone with Google Home app
- Google Nest speaker or display (recommended)
Pairing
- Open the Google Home app
- Tap + → Set up device → New device
- Scan the Matter QR code from your gateway dashboard
- Assign devices to rooms
Voice Control with Google Assistant
Once paired, control your devices:
- "Hey Google, turn on the kitchen lights"
- "Hey Google, dim the living room to 30%"
- "Hey Google, open the blinds"
- "Hey Google, what's the temperature in the bedroom?"
Routines
Create Google Home routines to automate multiple actions:
- Morning routines (lights, blinds, thermostat)
- Bedtime routines
- Away from home
- Custom triggers
Nest Integration
If you have Nest devices (thermostats, cameras), they work alongside your Iconet devices in the same Google Home.
